The FORestore project, spanning 24 months, brings together partners from Europe and Africa, specifically from Slovakia, Italy, Greece, Nigeria, Uganda, Ghana, Somalia, and Cameroon.

“The project aligns with the ERASMUS+ Capacity Building priorities for Vocational Education and Training (VET) and addresses the urgent global challenge of deforestation by focusing on sustainable forest management, restoration techniques, and building green sector skills. Our initiative brings together a diverse group of organizations to develop tailored vocational education and training (VET) solutions, empowering individuals and communities to take action in restoring vital ecosystems. With a strong emphasis on Sub-Saharan Africa, we aim to raise awareness, foster environmental stewardship, and contribute to the EU-Africa Global Gateway’s green transformation goals.”
